Nicolò D'Addabbo

Software Engineer, 22. Berlin-based.

Currently interning at Tesla in Berlin.

I studied Computer Science and Engineering between Milan, Barcelona, and Bologna. I started building things right after high school by going door to door in my hometown, Rimini, asking local businesses if they needed a website. A few said yes. That led to better gigs, and eventually to more complex mobile apps and internal tools. Along the way, I've developed a strong interest in clean architecture and building software that's genuinely useful to people.

I've been a musician, Ultimate Frisbee player, and event organizer.

Projects

  • Paganello Schedule: Web app for displaying real-time match schedules for Paganello, the world's largest Beach Ultimate Frisbee tournament—seeing over 3,000 players and attendees rely on it was a pivotal moment that deepened my passion for building software that solves real-world problems.
  • HYKEE AI: A virtual assistant that helps financial analysts interpret Italian company balance sheets, featuring fine-tuned language models and in-context learning strategies.
  • LLMs for Financial Statement Analysis (in Italian): Conducted as part of the HYKEE AI project, it includes a comparative study between open-source and proprietary LLMs, evaluated through expert-labeled data and a fine-tuned “LLM-as-a-Judge” model.
